Matanzas Day tour

Overview

Pickup at 8:30 am at your hotel.

Trip to Matanzas: 35 minutes bordering the Atlantic Ocean coast.

Visit San Severino Castle (if open)

Tour through the City of Matanzas where you can see museums, churches, and squares.

Visit the Cave of Bellamar

The biggest attraction on the outskirts of the city. Underground cave (Entrance not included, 5 USD per person).

Visit the Pharmaceutical Museum

Visit Monserrate Viewpoint

Where you can see the Yumuri Valley, and visit La Ermita, the oldest church in Matanzas.

Stop in Coral Beach for snorkeling and Saturno Cave for refreshing at the cenote, with equipment (Entrance not included: Coral Beach 10 USD per person, including equipment, and 5 USD per person for Saturno Cave).

Be back around 3:30 pm.

Tour Plan

  1. Authentic Cuban Tours offers you the opportunity to customize the tour to your needs, you don’t need necessarily to follow our program, you can add or remove spots.
  2. You will pay always at the end of your excursion and always in Cash. The price of your excursion included a professional Driver and/plus a Tour Guide in your Language. (English, French, or German).
  3. Lunch is not included, but we help you to find good Restaurants where you can taste Typical Cuban Food.
  4. Admission fees to places or activities are not included.
  5. American Vintage Cars not convertible have an A/C system but don’t have SeatBelts. They can take a maximum of 4 clients + a driver + a Tour guide. It would be 3 persons in the front seat and 3 persons in the back seat with a total of 6 persons in the car.
  6. If you are more than 4 people we recommend you do the excursions in a Minivan because it will be less expensive and more comfortable for your friends and family.
