Overview

Pick up at your accommodation or hotel at 9:50am in Varadero. If you are in Havana or Jibacoa at 10:30am

About two hours of travel to Havana along the north coast.

  • Stop at the Bacunayagua bridge, the highest bridge in Cuba 112m high where you can drink the best Piña Colada in Cuba!
  • Drive to Havana
  • Walk through Old Havana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982
  • Visit Cathedral Square
  • Visit Arm Square
  • Visit Old Square
  • Visit San Francisco de Asis Square
  • Stop at the oldest Fortress of Cuba Morro Castle
  • Visit the statue of Christ of Havana

National Hotel

  • Visit the Famous bar of Hemingway La Bodeguita del Medio and El Floridita
  • Lunch time (prices vary according to customer choice, not included)
  • Route along Malecon Avenue and the New Havana
  • Stop at the Revolution Square
  • Walking time in the downtown where you can see the Capitol building, the Great Theater and Central Park.
  • Optional stop at Museum of Rum (entrance not included, cheap)
  • Visit cigar store

When the afternoon falls, we will visit the best places to enjoy the sunset, which can be from El Malecon de la Habana or El Castillo del Morro.

The tour ends around sunset.

Drive back to Varadero after sunset.

Optional things you can add on this tour: 45 USD/EURO for one hour in a convertible classic car once in Havana.

Tour Plan

  1. Authentic Cuban Tours offers you the opportunity to customize the tour to your needs, you don’t need necessarily to follow our program, you can add or remove spots.
  2. You will pay always at the end of your excursion and always in Cash. The price of your excursion included a professional Driver and/plus a Tour Guide in your Language. (English, French, or German).
  3. Lunch is not included, but we help you to find good Restaurants where you can taste Typical Cuban Food.
  4. Admission fees to places or activities are not included.
  5. American Vintage Cars not convertible have an A/C system but don’t have SeatBelts. They can take a maximum of 4 clients + a driver + a Tour guide. It would be 3 persons in the front seat and 3 persons in the back seat with a total of 6 persons in the car.
  6. If you are more than 4 people we recommend you do the excursions in a Minivan because it will be less expensive and more comfortable for your friends and family.
